The impressions of 15 Days tour to Western Armenia and Cilicia that I got can not be described, the feelings were conflicting: at first there were a lot of confusions and shocks… than there were native ground under our feet and the clouds harbingered about the light of God, it was our ground and we belonged to that ground. For the second time the main feeling was: returning all to us, it was the feeling of native ground.

I had mutually exclusive feelings: I was sad but felt just great.

It was great and unforgettable. I will never forget what I saw there. Hope once I will be able to go there again but this time will go to the birthplace of my forbears – Erzrum, for sure.

The impressions are great. I can not find any word to introduce what kind of feelings I had in Van, which is the birthplace of my father and I breathed the air he had breathed. In Ani I saw what we had lost. I dreamed about it and hope to see all these again.

I got lots of nice impressions from being on the lend of my forbears – in Western Armenia. Being a driver and sawing the joy of each member of group I was shocked as well because that magnificent but also sad picture.

My first trip was a 7 day tour to Western Armenia; the second one was tour to Western Armenia and Cilikia. During the second tour we had a chance to organize a wedding ceremony in the church Surb Khatch of Akhtamar Island; it was the 41st anniversary of marriage. It is difficult the introduce what kind of feelings I had at the time of the ceremony, but more stirring was the moment, when thanks to Mr. Arushanuan I appeared in Patichavan village of Basen province, from where my forbears had migrated in 1828.

The impressions I got from journey were more than pleasant and joyful. Now I am very proud that I went and saw my fatherland. I am grateful to directorate of “Anitour” for presenting me such pleasant moment.

During the tours organized by “Anitour” few tourists managed organize wedding ceremony in Akhtamar Island by Holy Father. My wife and I managed it.
